You can be assured of a warm welcome from your two -and four legged hosts - Barbara, Dermot, Toby and occasionally, Minnie. Just a warning though, house rules dictate that the latter are not to enter the guest bedrooms!

While Toby has visited a number of places in the North Island, both Barbara and Dermot have travelled widely and enjoy meeting people and listening to their stories. Dermot is originally from England and Barbara, a Wellingtonian born and bred, is a fluent German speaker.

Having holidayed in the area prior to moving here, both Barbara and Dermot have a thorough knowledge of this area and will be happy to assist you with any activity arrangements or recommend the best places to visit.
