We welcome you along a wonderful tree-lined drive to enter the peace and tranquillity of our 11-acre rural retreat. Just 10-12 minutes drive (14kms) from Taupo with its wide range of shopping, cafes and restaurants, 45 minutes from Rotorua.

• Orakei Korako - an amazing thermal wonderland - Taupo's famous Hidden Valley. Ours is the closest accommodation of its kind to this wonderful thermal valley.
• Huka Falls - the start of the Waikato River. Marvel at the incredible power and colour of the water.
• Craters of the Moon - geothermal activity. The area's best-known local thermal attraction.
• Wairakei Terraces - Taupo's own Maori Village with hangi and concert party.
• Rapids Jet - the exhilarating jet boat ride operating from Aratiatia Rapids

• Swimming - you can boat or bathe at either Whakaipo Bay or Kinloch Bay ­ both about 10 - 15 minutes drive away
• Waitomo Caves - one and a half hours away, which makes them easily accessible within a day.
• Tongariro National Park - and the Tongariro Crossing walk are also 1 hour45 minute's drive from us. We are happy to provide an early breakfast and packed lunch for anyone setting out on the walk.
• Trout Fishing - by charter boat or casting ­ we can book for you.
• Golf - There are a number of excellent golf courses in this area, including Wairakei International Golf Course.
